Montifalcon powers Taytay Gymnasts to rank fourth on Provincials

Manuel I. Santos MNHS gymnast Trisha Mae Montifalcon led the rally of Taytay Builders with Carla Reston and Khyla Valencio to cop their fourth placer win on Women’s Artistic Gymnastics after seizing three golds, one silver and bronze apiece to propel the team high on the seeders at Angono Elementary School, October 23.

Meanwhile, Caysmerinian Carla Reston fails expectations after losing her esteem on the individual bracket, bracing on several faults that dipped her scores miserably.

After executing a graceful ball apparatus, Reston turns out of steam after experiencing difficulty on her throws that similarly thrown her off to a low score with only 1.75 points, while Valencio shared the same game finish with an also low 3.05 score.

Montifalcon surges the bout with a team high 12.5 to lift the team to the top savoring her gold medal after flourishing her majestic ball apparatus techniques.

Resurgent Reston after a short-handed start doubled up her performance to heat up her pace on the standings to cast 4.25 points with her smooth execution of juggles and throws to make up for her losing start restrained from earlier trainings.

Montifalcon continues her scorching hot appeal on the mat leading the momentum with a ribbon apparatus and a succession of throws together with rhythmic movements to scoop out yet another stellar 13.1 points and seal another individual gold on the tally.

Even after accounting little amount of gold credits to the Manuelian gymnasts, the trio saves their luck amounting the fourth place on the finals leaning on Montifalcon’s charge over their also excellent opponents along Rizal.
