In an interview with ICT Coordinator Analisa Amador, she admitted the ICT rooms cannot be used due to numerous problems.
Amador stated that there are three ICT rooms in CAYSMNHS’ Ynares 1 and transferred to DepEd 2 but the building will be repaired so they can’t arrange the rooms for the students to use.
The said issue was brought after students were puzzled by the unused ICT rooms.
“After the repair of the building, the DepEd 2, ire-reconnect yung mga computers so magagamit ulit yun ng mga estudyante” The ICT coordinator uttered.
Amador also added that there are 49 computers in an ICT room then multiply by three since there are three ICT rooms plus 50 computers that are located in DepEd 2.
The reason for the ICT rooms to be unused since just by going to the Computer lab is time consuming as well as the time they will set-up the computers.
ICT rooms’ location might be far to the building the teacher’s next class will be so they prefer to use the classrooms instead.
“We still have the ICT room in Ynares 1, which is the main ICT room, the Com Lab 1 so nagamit naman siya this year, just this August” Analisa Amador added.
In addition Amador shared that the school administration is working on the installation of more computers in the future.
